Privacy policy

This policy explains what data StreamerLove collects, what we use it for and what control you have over it. Short version: we ask for the minimum, we sell nothing to anyone, and we use no advertising or third-party tracking.

1. What data we collect

Only what the board needs to work:

• Email address: identifies your account and receives confirmations.
• Pseudonym and public identifier (@name): this is what appears on the board.
• Password: always stored encrypted; nobody, not even us, can read it.
• Avatar and preferred language: optional.
• IP address and timestamp of each action: only to limit abuse and detect fraud.

2. Payment data

We do not collect or store card numbers. Payment happens inside Stripe or Mercado Pago, which apply their own privacy policies. All we get back is the amount, the payment status and a transaction identifier.

3. What we use your data for

Four specific things:

• Creating and maintaining your account.
• Showing your contributions on the board and on your public profile.
• Sending transactional emails: promotion confirmation, Love confirmation and password reset.
• Preventing fraud and abuse.

We send no advertising or newsletters, and we do not share your email with third parties for marketing.

4. What is public and what is not

Your pseudonym, your @ identifier, your avatar and the streamers you support may appear publicly on the board and on your profile.

Your email address is never public. On top of that, each of your activities can be marked private from your account, and it then stops being shown to others.

5. Cookies

We use two cookies and neither is for advertising. The session cookie keeps you logged in and is essential in order to promote or give Love. The language cookie (sl_lang) remembers which language you want the site in.

The site loads fonts and libraries from external servers (Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Tailwind) which, by the nature of how they work, may see your IP address when delivering those files.

6. Who we share data with

Only whoever is needed to operate:

• Our hosting provider, where the database lives.
• Stripe and Mercado Pago, to process payments.
• The mail server that delivers transactional messages.

We do not sell or hand over personal data to anyone else.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as the account exists. If you ask for deletion, we remove your profile and personal data, but we keep the minimum record of payment transactions that accounting rules and the payment providers require us to retain.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw your consent. Email soporte@streamerlove.com from your account address and we will reply within 30 days at most.

9. Minors

StreamerLove is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you spot a minor's account, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy
